My parents and I traced our family line to Tintern Abbey in Wales. After wandering through ancient stone ruins and feeling tired out from a day of outings, we stopped at one more spot that I opted to stay in the car rather than see. As I was sitting with my feet up, I glanced mindlessly out my window at the gray green stone wall we had pulled up alongside, my eyes then wandered to these green stalks with round green ends and it was enough to pull me out of the car to take a closer look with my camera. I loved the color behind the plants and I loved the plants themselves, they reminded me of outer space. So I took a series of images with them as my subject and gave them all celestial names.
